Our Vision and Mission

The school offers an all-rounded experience in learning English in a fun and interactive classroom. We adopt problem-based and theme-based learning in lessons to facilitate students’ acquisition of grammar knowledge and higher order thinking, thereby cultivate students’ interest in the language and become independent and lifelong learners.

School-based Speaking Curriculum

Our school offers a regime in developing students’ confidence in speaking. The curriculum starts with simple show-and-tell and dialogue facilitation in KS1 and spirals into storytelling, group presentations, public speaking and debate in KS2. Students are given opportunities to speak in front of audience.

Literacy Programmes

With the support from the NET section of EDB, we tailor Space Town and KEYS2 programmes to our students’ need. The programmes are taught by our school’s Native English Teachers and offer a fun and interactive environment for English learning. Starting in KS1, the programmes offer a holistic phonics programme that enhances students’ phonetic awareness. The programme also does guided and shared reading to expose our students to a wide range of text types. As students enter KS2, they start process and shared writing to polish language usage.
