Learning Support

Our school has established a Student Support Team to implement the "Three-Tier Support Model" through the "Whole School Approach." We aim to identify student needs early and cater to the learning, social, and emotional development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Resources are effectively utilized to provide comprehensive care and appropriate support for students with SEN.

  • Follow-up on primary one transition letters from kindergartens
  • Early identification of SEN students using the "Observation Checklist for Teachers (OCT)"

Classroom Optimization

  • Diversified learning and assessment modes
  • Enhancing classroom teaching effectiveness through multimedia technology

Small Group Training

  • Learning support groups
  • Social skills training groups
  • Attention training groups

Accommodation Policy

  • Homework and assessment accommodations

Professional Support

  • School-based Speech Therapy Service (SBSTS)
  • School-based Educational Psychology Service (SBEPS)
  • Counselors / Social Workers

Enhancing Chinese Learning and Teaching Support Scheme for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students

  • Provide after-school tutoring for NCS students to help them adapt to the Chinese curriculum as early as possible.

Through a whole-school approach and interdisciplinary collaboration, the school supports students with special needs in learning, speech communication, social interaction, and emotional-behavioral development, while fostering an inclusive and caring culture on campus.
