My favourite place in Hong Kong

      I like to go to outlying islands because of the beautiful sea views and the fresh air! When I am free, I like to go to my favourite island—Lamma Island.
      I went to Lamma Island with my family during the last summer holiday. The weather was good. It was sunny and hot. This was the first time we went there. We set off at half past ten in the morning, with a lot of snacks and drinks in our backpacks. First, we took a bus to Central. Then, we took a ferry to Lamma Island.
      When we arrived at Lamma Island, we had lunch in a seafood restaurant. We ate some flavourful prawns, tasty clams and appetising oysters. Mum asked, ‘Anna, do you like this restaurant? What do you think of this meal?’ ‘Yes, it’s very yummy!’ I answered merrily. After that, we walked about fifteen minutes to the beach. ‘Wow! The beach is so beautiful. The view is spectacular!’ We announced with joy.
      My dad and I couldn’t wait to jump into the sea! In addition to swimming cheerfully, we also built sandcastles and played ball games on the beach. Other than that, we played frisbee together. Mum and dad threw it and I chased after it like a doggie!
      It was a day full of laughter and joy. We felt happy and enjoyed the trip very much. I hope to go to Lamma Island with my family again!
