Chinese New Year Holiday

     This year, we had a special Chinese New Year Holiday.

     As the pandemic was getting more serious these last few weeks, my family needed to stay home according to the regulations set by the Hong Kong government.

     On New Year’s Eve, my brother and I helped our parents with the housework. I collected all the rubbish and threw it away in different recycling bins. My brother cleaned the kitchen and the washroom, which were quite dirty. In a few hours, he made them so clean.

     From the first to the seventh of the Chinese New Year, we didn’t visit our relatives. Instead, we greeted them via social media like Facebook and Instagram. Although we didn’t see one another in person, we still felt it was a good time to celebrate our Chinese New Year.
