Catching A Star

     Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lily. One day, when she was watching the stars at night, she said, ‘I wish I could have a star.’ So, she planned to get a star.

     First, she found a bird. She wanted the bird to carry her into the sky, but it couldn’t because Lily was too heavy for the bird to carry. Next, she wanted to use her rocket to fly up to the sky, but the rocket was broken. Then she saw a star in a lake. But it was just a shadow, she didn’t know this, so she tried to catch it. It didn’t go well. Finally, she knew it was just a shadow.

     ‘I can’t catch a star, but I can draw a star.’ Lily thought to herself. She drew a giant star and used her yellow coloured pencil to colour it. She made her own star. She felt happy.
