Vegetarian vs. Vegan

What do you know about vegetarians and vegans? Which is better in your thoughts? These are some open questions, but one point is for sure - they are different.

Both vegetarians and vegans have some common reasons for not eating meat. Some pursue peace between animals and humans, health, and religious beliefs. We can't count them all. However, there are some differences.

Neither vegetarians nor vegans eat animals, but vegans are often stricter at controlling their diets. Why do I say this? Vegetarians can eat and drink animal products like cheese, eggs, and milk. However, vegans do not because they cite that the farmers badly treat the animals which provide this food. Overall, if someone says they don't eat meat but decide to consume these animal products, they are more likely to be a vegetarian.

Now, for the second question: Are vegetarians or vegans better? Some research has proved that a vegetarian or vegan diet lowers the chance of heart disease and makes it easier to digest food. However, if we don't balance our diet well, it could be dangerous because we might lose some vital nutrition. Therefore, vegetarians and vegans could make people healthier, but balancing the diet well and getting enough nutrition is important.

What do you think? Will you become a vegetarian or vegan when you grow up? I think a vegetarian could get more nutrition through milk and cheese, but vegans aren't wrong either because the people might have treated the animals awfully. In a nutshell, vegetarians and vegans can both be healthy, but it depends on how you balance your diet.
