The Two Magical Hearts

 

     Chaos all around, meteors everywhere! But first, let me tell you about this story. 

     Once there were two little kids called Beatrice and James. They grew up together, and they did everything together. One day James did something terrible, but he thought it was funny. However, Beatrice was very sad. She even locked herself in her room and didn’t go to school. As James made fun of her dad dying. Soon Beatrice moved away, and James was really sad. 

     Fifteen years later, both had almost forgotten about each other. They learned advanced magic, defenses magic, spells, and curses! They swore to themselves not to use cursed magic and keep it hidden as much as possible. 

     Faith brought them together. After all those years, they picked the same college. One day somehow, they met up in the hallway. James didn’t realise she was his old best friend from when he was four years old.

     James became a bully, but Beatrice didn’t change at all. Beatrice was a smart girl; she instantly knew it was James, but she was too scared to tell him. 

     During defensive training class, they had to go against each other. Both were very good, until both accidentally used one of the curses at the same time. 

     Suddenly there was a big blinding light, and a magical portal opened. They got sucked in! James and Beatrice were in an unfamiliar place. Beatrice found out that they were in the future, but Beatrice didn’t know why. Soon they found a small hut. They tried to figure out what was going on.

     A day after, they started getting along. James wanted to talk to Beatrice, but suddenly a giant meteor fell on the small hut. They were in shock! They saw two familiar faces. They realised it was their future selves. For some reason, future James’s face has a crack on it. I believed the staff he held turned him to the darkness. 

     James didn’t know what staff it was. Beatrice knew the staff was the ‘Staff of war,’ one of the most powerful staffs of the nine old wizards.

     Future Beatrice had enormous wings. She also held a staff. It was the ‘Staff of wisdom.’

     James and Beatrice realised that they were fighting a huge war in the future, but they were against each other. 

     Future James had already burned down hundreds of villages and tens of thousands of cities! When future Beatrice found out that future James was blinded by darkness. She was on a quest to find the Wisdom staff. When she found it, she used it to raise an army of unicorns, Pegasus, and angels. On the other hand, Future James raised an army of ‘Goblins, Ogres, Warriors, Demons, even Satan obeyed him. Beatrice and James wanted to hear more of what they were saying, so they got closer.

     “I’ve had enough of you; you have already done too much damage.” Said Future Beatrice

     “Soon, darkness will take over the world, and no one can stop me, not even you! Said Future James with an evil laugh.

     A magic portal opened suddenly, and they got sucked in again. Beatrice and James were back in the present. 

     They realised they had to stop what was happening with all the chaos in the future so that James won’t turn to the dark side. 

     Beatrice kept an eye on James closely. They decided to set off on a journey to find the two staffs in the future. They found a spell that would take the staffs to a prison, where you keep falling and falling for all eternity. That was the best way to stop the chaos.

     Beatrice had studied all the staffs in the past when she was eleven years old. She remembered one of the books mentioned the location of the staffs. 

     She decided to go with James. Although it was hidden, she was smart enough to figure out how to get it. 

     The ‘Staff of war’ was required to go to a dungeon near the Bermuda Triangle. In the dungeon, spells cannot be used, only a sword and a shield. It was too easy for James. He was very good at using a sword. After defeating all the bosses, the ‘Staff of war’ appeared. 

     After Beatrice and James got the ‘Staff of war,’ they set up another journey to find the ‘Staff of wisdom.’ They had to go to the peak of Mount Everest. Once they arrived at the peak, they had to use a spell to get past the ogres. There were also many quizzes that they had to solve before seeing the ‘Staff of wisdom.’ This time Beatrice played the big part. She loves quizzes!

     Now that they had both staffs, they needed to put them in prison. In order to open the magical force, they both need to say the same spell together.

     “By the power of the sun and moon, take the powerful staffs to eternity at once.”

After they said those words with pure heart, the two staffs were sucked into a portal, and whoosh! They were gone!

     They had erased the timeline they witnessed in the future and created a new one with hope and peace.

     One day, James asked Beatrice to hang out with him in the cherry blossom garden. Beatrice and James stood under the cherry blossom tree in silence. James said to her, “I know that we have been best friends since we were four, but I want to be more than your best friend.”

     “What do you mean?” said Beatrice.

     “Beatrice, will you be my girlfriend?” Asked James.
“Of course, I will!” said Beatrice.

     They lived happily ever after. The age of peace had started, and everybody was happy.
