Anna Got Lost in the Crowd
On the second day of Lunar New Year, Anna and her parents went to Victoria Harbour to watch the fireworks show. The night sky was a canvas, lit up with vibrant colours that danced and sparkled, filling Anna and her family with countless delight. With her new camera in hand, Anna captured breathtaking photos. Each snap preserved a moment of magic.
After taking photos, Anna turned around, eager to share her excitement. Unfortunately, her heart sank when she realized her parents were nowhere to be seen. Worry washed over her and fear began to creep in. She shouted loudly for her parents, but her voice was swallowed by the bustling crowd, drowned out by others’ laughter and chatter.
Feeling desperate and anxious, Anna glanced around to look for help. Then her eyes landed on a friendly policewoman nearby. With a mixture of hope and urgency, she approached her courageously.
‘I lost my parents. Can you help me find them, please?’ she asked nervously with her voice trembling.
The policewoman smiled reassuringly, kneeling to Anna's level. "Sure! Let's not panic! I will help you find them," she replied kindly. She asked Anna for her parents' names and quickly reached for her radio, communicating with other officers in the area. Anna felt a little sense of relief.
Anna’s parents finally arrived, their faces reflected a mix of worry and relief. Excitedly Anna ran up to them, they enveloped he in a warm hug. The reunion felt like a scene from a movie, where everything ends happily ever after.
After this valuable experience, Anna learned a vital lesson. She realized the importance of staying close to her parents in crowded places. "I should always look before I leap," she thought. She understood that making decisions requires careful consideration. From that day on, Anna promised herself to think twice before wandering off, ensuring she would never feel lost again.
