My Childhood Memory
When I was small, I could not ride a bicycle. One day, Dad took my sister, Daisy and me to the park. My sister cycled as fast as lightning. I asked her, ‘Can you teach me how to ride a bicycle?’ She replied with a smile. ‘Sure, no problem. I can teach you.’ I was on cloud nine.
Soon, she started to teach me. I got on the bike and grabbed the handle bars tightly. My sister held the seat and pushed me from behind slowly. She said, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will stay with you.’ I tried to balance but I fell off unfortunately. I shouted, ‘Ouch! My elbow is in pain!’ It was bleeding. I couldn’t stop crying.
My sister was shocked and concerned. She said, ‘Oh no! Let me tell Dad.’ When Dad came, he carried me to the bench immediately and helped me put on a bandage.
After I recovered, I didn’t give up learning cycling. Now, I can ride a bicycle fast like an arrow.
