Trapped

     One day, Mum and Dad took my little brother shopping. My brother did not want to go, but he had no choice as no one would be home to look after him.
          
     They went to different shops, the clothes shop, the shoe shop and the supermarket. My brother felt so bored! Soon, he saw a lift and as quick as a flash, he had a good idea. He ran straight to the lift when Mum and Dad were not paying attention. He wanted to make a mischievous move. He fiddled with the lift button excitedly. He did not know what would happen next.

     Suddenly, the lift stopped operating. My brother was frightened. He kept pressing the button, but nobody heard it. He cried louder and louder! The lift had malfunctioned and my brother was trapped! He was very scared.

     Luckily, there was a CCTV camera installed in the lift. The security guards saw him in the security guard’s office. When they saw that my brother was trapped, they immediately went to the lift and rescued my brother! They pried open the lift door and saved him.

     After a while, my brother was able to come out from the lift. He was happy and felt grateful towards the security guards for saving him. However, Mum and Dad were angry! Dad warned my brother not to be mischievous anymore. My brother promised Dad and they went back home together. What a thrilling day!
