Dogs

     What is your favourite animal? I like dogs the best. People say dogs are humans’ best friends and I absolutely agree with this! Dogs are not only the most popular pet, but they are also trained to keep old, sick and blind people accompanied.

     Some behaviour of dogs really make them adorable! When dogs sit quietly, people love patting them on their soft furry skin. When they are happy and delightful, they wag their tails excitedly and welcome you. With their four strong legs, they can run really fast and nobody could resist the fun of throwing balls or Frisbee for dogs to fetch. When you feel upset or not so good, dogs become the best emotion detectives and stay by your side loyally. These are the reasons why people are treating pet dogs as family members.

     Dogs’ diets are also a concern, as more and more people and families are treating dogs as ‘fur kids’. Dogs love to eat meat, vegetables and a little bit of fruit like apples. People are paying more attention to healthy diets for dogs too. Some people feed dogs with healthier dog food, while some feed dogs with meat. Dogs snacks are also popular treats for dogs, acting like awards for kids. Nowadays, some people celebrate their pet dogs’ birthdays too. Therefore, birthday cakes especially for dogs are made because dogs cannot digest cream or sugar.

     All these features of dogs make me love them so much! We often say dogs are human’s best friends. At the same time, humans are dogs’ best friends too!
