Cats or Dogs?

Cats or dogs? This question is pretty common in general. But which animal is better? Both cats and dogs are great, they both have good and bad qualities.

Dogs are like our friends; they understand our emotions. A dog can also be a good guard. It can watch our front door and scare thieves away! A dog also can be a lifesaver, It can even sniff out cancer if you give them the right training!

However, they can be naughty sometimes. Some dogs are very dangerous, they can bite people. Some pee everywhere and almost all dog fur drops everyway in the house!

Cats are huggable. They are as soft as cotton. They don't need much exercise, because they are independent by nature. They have learned to care for themselves and generally only rely on their human for food. Even playing with them can be as simple and cost-effective as a flashlight or a feather tied to a stick.

Yet, the bad thing about cats is their litter box, since it always stinks! So you always have to clean them out. They might also scratch up your sofas and ruin your furniture!

Although cats and dogs have different personalities, we have to treat them in different ways. We cannot say which one is better. Everybody has a different personality and living style. Some people are willing to spend more time playing with a pet and taking care of them. Some people don't have much time as they have to work all day. But they still want a pet to accompany them. Although they have less time to take care of them, they still try their best to love them in their own way.

But if you ask me, which do I prefer? Well, I would like to tell you that I personally prefer cats because cats don't take up much space and they don't always need to go out for a walk every day. They can get exercise from walking around the house or playing with you.

Dogs often tend to be more expensive to care for than a cat between food, toys, training classes, daycare, and vet bills. Having a cat would be slightly more cost-effective, I think. How about you, cats or dogs?
