My Amazing Trip

          I had an exciting experience in 2022! Now that we don’t need to quarantine anymore when we come back to Hong Kong, my mom and dad brought my sister and I to Japan!

          One month ago, I flew to Japan from Hong Kong with my family. We stayed there for eight days. I was bored during the four-hour flight. However, the moment I stepped into New Chitose Airport in Japan, I could not explain how excited I was. It was my first-time visiting Japan!

         On the second day of our trip, it was snowing heavily. It was my first time seeing real snow. It was amazing! I made an adorable snowman, it was incredible! My favorite part of the trip was the snow.

         On the fourth day, we went skiing. We didn’t bring any skiing equipment, so we rented the equipment there. It was our first-time skiing. Therefore, a skiing coach taught us how to ski. When we began to master the skiing skills, we rode on a cable car to the top of the snowy mountain. It was a bit scary to stand on the top of the mountain, but the beautiful view was breathtaking! The whole place laid out below me. I fell down several times, but I didn’t give up and I kept trying. Finally, I did it! I experienced skiing successfully.

       In these eight days, I learnt a lot of things such as how to ski. I was contented and thrilled about this trip. I also learnt a lesson; we should not give up on challenging obstacles otherwise we will never succeed. I appreciate my parents bringing me to Japan and letting me know more about Japan.
